Managing Lots of Campaigns

As you start running AB tests and add more paywalls and placements, the number of campaigns will grow. Nami has several tools to help you manage lots of campaigns through bulk edits

Bulk Campaign Management tools are available on Enterprise plans only.

Add a Campaign Rule to Multiple Placements

This feature is in Beta. Contact Team Nami if you have questions

By default when you create a campaign rule, it belongs to a single placement. But you may find that you want the same set of business logic at many different placements.

  1. Navigate to a campaign rule you want to duplicate

  2. Select a list of placements.

  3. Give the new campaigns a name by using our template.

    1. By default, the name will be "Duplicate of origin campaign name"

    2. You can use variables like ${placement.display_name} or ${placement.label} to insert values from the new placements. Learn about Placement Display Name

  4. Click 'Copy to X placements'

  5. X new campaigns will be created using the same filters, tests, and priority, as the origin campaign

Replacing Campaign Paywall

Use Case: You created a paywall and assigned it to several campaign rules. Now you want to edit all those campaign rules to use a new paywall. Use the Replace function to swap the old paywall with a new one.

  1. Find old paywall to be replaced

  2. Click 'Settings'

  3. Click 'Replace' next to the list of campaigns

    1. If the paywall doesn't belong to a campaign, this button won't appear

  4. Pick a new paywall

  5. Click 'Replace'

  6. The old paywall will be replaced with the new one in all campaigns. This means the old paywall will no longer be served to users and the new one will now show up.

Replacing Paywalls in A/B Test

If your current paywall is in an A/B or multivariate test, the new paywall will replace it in all campaigns. Therefore your new paywall may be in all or multiple campaign segments.
